India is home to over 1.2 billion people, many of whom live in extreme poverty. 10% of the population do not have access to clean drinking water and limited healthcare is a major concern. In the contested Jammu Kashmir region many people face persecution and decades of violence has left widows and orphans struggling to survive.
One Nation currently provide food packs, water aid and medical care in India. We also seek to offer the poor a way to sustain themselves in the future. This includes offering a goat rearing programme, and providing sewing machines with which families can provide an income for themselves.
