HIGHLAND SUPPORT FOR REFUGEES TO LEBANON AID CONTAINER UPDATE
28th August 2016

The container aid that was sent from the Highland support for refugees team in Scotland has been distributed to the most needy refugees in the Bekaa valley area of Lebanon alhumdulillah. A big thank you to ‎Salam LADC سلام all the team in Highland support and all the donors for making this possible.

Our volunteers together with Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs staff set to work unloading, sorting and packing the contents of these containers for distribution in the municipalities of Rachaya and El Marj.

The Highlands Support Refugees container was distributed in El Marj, reaching 650 Syrian and 200 Lebanese families with clothing, shoes, toys and other items. The system for the distributions, free warehouse space, list of families in need and the invitations to distribution point was done by our good friends from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Your donations continue to help thousands of families, Widows and orphans who have fled the ongoing crisis in Syria.
