The plight of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya people is said to be the world’s fastest growing refugee crisis.
Burma, entire villages burn. Destruction, persecution and oppression have led to almost 700,000 Rohingya fleeing Myanmar (Burma) by sea or land, risking death in search of safety in neighbouring Bangladesh.
Described by the United Nations as a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing” the situation in Burma is horrific. Through the provisions of shelters for family, food parcels and water aid we aim to ease the plight of the displaced people of Rohingya.
