Afghanistan Floods Appeal
The Ministry For Refugees in Afghanistan said on Sunday 12th May 2024 the death toll from flooding in northern Afghanistan was 315, with more than 1,600 people injured.
The announcement came a day after the World Food Programme (WFP) of the UN stated that more than 300 people had lost their lives, while many were still unaccounted for, prompting urgent rescue efforts by authorities.
Baghlan emerges as one of the hardest-hit regions, witnessing the destruction of approximately 1,000 homes thus far.

Importance of Your Donation
“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter.
