Syria’s ongoing conflict, now in its 5th year, has torn apart countless families. Entire communities have been uprooted, scattering large populations within Syria and driving over 5 million people into surrounding countries.

For many people trapped inside Syria, the scarcity of food is an even greater threat to their lives than bombs and snipers. 3 million people are living in besieged areas, where nothing can get in or out. Children are dying of starvation, and people are reduced to eating dogs and cats.
