Together, we can build hope

Shelter is a basic right of man, yet worldwide there are over 1.5 billion people living in inadequate housing. From that around 100 million people are without a home at all.

In areas in need of emergency relief, where houses have either been destroyed or damaged, One Nation aims to provide basic housing for the needy.

Starting from temporary measures such as tents and basic ‘shed’ houses, One Nation aims to help re-house people with added amenities such as running water and drainage.

Beneficiaries are homeless, orphans, refugees, elderly, families with sick persons

“There is no right for the son of Adam except in these things: a house in which he lives, a garment to cover his nakedness, a piece of bread and water.” – [Tirmidhi]

Lebanon Tent Renovation

Lebanon Tent
Renovation

Lebanon has been regarded as the safe zone for the people of Syria and Palestine. Over 3 million Syrian and Palestinian Refugees are now residing in Lebanon. The Lebanese Pound has lost 80 percent of its value since October 2019, eroding people’s ability to access basic goods, including food, shelter, and healthcare. The Covid-19 pandemic compounded poverty and economic hardship.

The financial crisis has thrown Lebanon’s healthcare sector into crisis. Hospitals are struggling to provide patients with urgent and necessary life-saving medical care due to the government’s failure to provide private and public hospitals with the funds it owes them.

With your donation One Nation are able to provide some ease to the 3 million refugees on the ground. Due to the harsh conditions in the winter and soaring temperatures in the summer, refugee tents are usually damaged, and water is able to seep through.

With your support to this cause, One Nation can provide brand new tent covers ensuring families of 5-8 are in suitable shelter all year round.
