There are over 150 million orphans around the world, with over half this number originating from Asia and the Middle East. They have suffered unimaginable trauma and are at risk of exploitation such as child labour, early marriage, and other damaging activities.

Through our Orphan Sponsorship programme, you can help to give a child the lifeline they desperately need. Our priority is to support orphans in their normal or extended family environment. We try to ensure that with your support the carer can feed, clothe, and educate the orphan in need.

One Nation UK runs a direct one-to-one child sponsorship model. This means one donor supports one individual child at a time, and the donation benefits that specific child.

One Nation will provide you with a profile within 1 month that will show you the child you are supporting along with some background information.

An end of year report will be sent to you on an annual basis displaying the progression of the orphan and their ambitions. A thank you video from the child will also be included in the report.

No. This project focuses on direct support for individual children. If you would like to help broader community initiatives, you can donate to One Nation UK’s Most Needy Fund, which supports food packs, healthcare, and livelihood projects for entire communities.
One Nation UK ensures that the full amount intended for the child is delivered directly to them. Any minimal administrative costs are covered separately to maintain our 100% donation policy.
We work with trusted local partners who verify the identity of each child and oversee secure distribution. Regular reports and updates are collected to ensure the funds are used correctly.
Annual sponsorships last 12 months, while monthly sponsorships continue on an ongoing basis. Donors are notified if circumstances change, such as if the child’s situation improves or they no longer require support.
You can cancel at any time. We will make sure the child continues receiving support through our emergency fund until a new sponsor is found.
If your sponsored child leaves the programme (for example, due to relocation or passing away), we will inform you promptly and assign a new beneficiary. You may also choose to end your sponsorship instead.
