Wedding Favours
Help feed the needy on your blessed Wedding day and Walima.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say:
“The worst food is the food of a wedding banquet to which the rich are invited while the poor are left out. Anyone who does not answer the invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him).”
– Sahih Bukhari & Muslim
What is Wedding Favours?
An amazing initiative which was inspired by the hadith reported in Sahih Muslim in relation to wedding food.
An opportunity for anyone getting married, to provide food for the less fortunate from you, your partner or your family.
This is how a prosperous marriage starts, following in the sunnah of our beloved prophet sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam and giving in the path of Allah to seek only his pleasure.
Wedding Favours Card
Family & Guest Cards
We now provide a printable Wedding Favours card for every Wedding Favours donation. This features a QR code that links to a video showcasing the food preparation, distribution, and heartfelt duaa’s for the happy couple, as shown in the example.
This has become a popular and meaningful way to share Wedding Favour feedback with your family and guests on your special day.
