54 Years of Struggle and War
As one of the holiest sites in Islam, Palestine is very close to our hearts. In the Gaza Strip and West Bank, including East Jerusalem, around 2.1 million people need humanitarian assistance, among them 933,994 children. The situation in the State of Palestine remains a protracted protection crisis, exacerbated by the May 2021 escalation. These latest escalations resulted in the 278 deaths and almost 10,000 people injured. Houses were destroyed, businesses were closed and hospitals were inaccessible.
Insufficient water supply to households, poor sanitation and solid waste services, limited public WASH services and risk of flooding are further putting 1.36 million Palestinians at risk of waterborne diseases.
Health services were also overstretched and disrupted during and following the May 2021 escalation in Gaza, leaving an estimated 1.5 million people with limited access to primary healthcare, among them 700,000 children.

Importance of Your Donation
“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter.
