Homeless and Youth Support
UK HOMELESS SUPPORT – LEEDS
Right now, people are sleeping rough on the streets in the UK with no certainty about their next meal, warmth, or safety. This isn’t a distant crisis. It’s happening here, every night, in our own city.
One Nation runs regular frontline homeless support in Leeds, reaching people where they are, without conditions or judgement.
On Thursdays, our team is on the streets of Leeds, distributing hot food, drinks, clothing, blankets and essential items directly to those sleeping rough.
Once a month, we also support vulnerable individuals at St Anne’s Resource Centre in Leeds, working alongside existing services to provide food, hot drinks and other essentials to those facing homelessness, addiction, mental health struggles and isolation.
This work is simple, but it matters. A hot meal. Clean clothing. A conversation that reminds someone they haven’t been forgotten.
Homelessness in the UK is growing, and many people are only one crisis away from the streets. Until long-term solutions are in place, immediate support is critical.
Your support keeps this work going. It allows us to show up consistently, week after week, for people who are often ignored.
Support our UK homeless projects and help us continue this vital work.
Through your support, One Nation is delivering help to those who need it most.

LMA ACADEMY – LEICESTER
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT – LEICESTER
Our partnership with LMA ACADEMY
In some parts of Leicester, young people are growing up surrounded by pressure, fear and the pull of the streets. Some experience violence as early as 12 or 13. Others face loneliness, difficult home lives or older peers leading them down the wrong path.
Every young person deserves better. A safe space, positive role models and the chance to build a brighter future.
This is why One Nation supports LMA Academy, a trusted grassroots organisation delivering a range of youth projects across Leicester. Their work gives young people real alternatives, meaningful support and genuine hope.
Once a month, we also support vulnerable individuals at St Anne’s Resource Centre in Leeds, working alongside existing services to provide food, hot drinks and other essentials to those facing homelessness, addiction, mental health struggles and isolation.
What LMA Academy provides
A safe space every week for more than 100 boys, alongside a growing youth club for girls. These sessions offer warmth, stability and a positive environment away from street pressures.
Anti knife crime workshops delivered by people with lived experience. These sessions speak directly to the challenges young people face and help them rethink risky decisions.
Mentoring and guidance from trusted role models who support young people to stay away from harmful influences and build confidence in themselves.
Meaningful moments of support such as a conversation, a listening ear or reassurance at the right time that can change the direction of a young person’s life.
For many, LMA Academy is more than a youth club.
– it is the place they feel safe.
– it is the place they feel understood.
– it is the place they feel seen.
The girls’ youth club, held every Sunday, is another important step in reaching more young people in the community and giving them the support they deserve.
This partnership helps prevent problems before they start.
It protects young people long before harm is done.
It gives young people the chance to break negative cycles and build better futures.

Muslim Prisoners Islamic Education Programme
Give the Gift of Guidance This Ramadan – £40 Per Course
This Ramadan, while we gather in prayer and break our fasts with family, many Muslim men and women sit alone behind prison walls — reflecting, regretting, and wanting to change.
Ramadan softens hearts. But without authentic Islamic guidance, that sincerity can fade.
“O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah.” (Qur’an 39:53)
The Muslim Prisoners Islamic Education Programme provides structured Islamic learning for prisoners ready to reform.
Each participant receives:
– 1 Living Islam coursebook
– 8 structured modules
– Guided workshops with the prison Imam
– Ongoing supervision and support
This is more than book distribution — it is a journey of tawbah, discipline, character development and spiritual growth
The Prophet ﷺ said:
Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.” (Muslim)
If a prisoner reforms, prays consistently, and rebuilds their life — you share in that reward.
£40 sponsors one complete course – A Sadaqah That Could Change a Life.
We aim to support 200 Muslim prisoners in this first phase.
“Whoever relieves a hardship for a fellow believer, Allah will relieve a hardship for him on the Day of Judgment.“
– Sahih Muslim (2699)
Deen Development Fund (DDF)
The rising cost of living is placing huge pressure on families across the UK. For many parents — especially single-parent households — madrasah fees have become increasingly difficult to afford. As a result, some children are being withdrawn from Islamic education, not by choice, but out of necessity.
DDF supports children from low-income and vulnerable families by helping cover madrasah fees, ensuring their Islamic studies can continue without interruption. Support is provided directly to verified madrasahs, maintaining dignity, transparency, and accountability.
