Lake District - Coast 2 Coast
The epic Coast2Coast ride will start at St Bees by the coast at 6am on Saturday 27th August 2022. Travelling arrangements for all cyclists to St Bee’s will be made a day before the ride in the evening on Friday 26th August. On arrival we will be camping and staying at a campsite, toilet and shower facilities will be available. All riders need to bring their own tents and sleeping bags🎒, food will be provided. On Saturday 27th August we will be staying at a Youth Hostel in Hawes, in the picturesque Yorkshire dales.
School Project – Gandamak, Afghanistan
Each rider’s minimum fundraising target for this noble cause is £750. 313 Riders are organising this ride to build a school for underprivileged children in Afghanistan, these children currently have no access to education and are forced into child labour and begging hence fundraising is a key aspect to try and make a big difference on the ground. Having a clear fundraising message with reminders from Qur’an/Hadith and sending messages regularly on WhatsApp, becoming active on social media or speaking to family/friends are all key aspects in reaching your target. Please ensure you give time to your fundraising.
Admin Fee is £120, this includes bus journey to Lake District Coast and return journey on Sunday 28th August, two nights accommodation and food included. Also, a support vehicle will be with us meeting us every 25-30 miles and provide snacks, food, and breakdown support.
